ChatReact

Terms of service

Effective date: 3 October 2026

These terms cover your use of the ChatReact browser extension (“ChatReact”), published by DesertIce (“we”, “us”). By installing or using ChatReact, in any browser, you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the extension.

What ChatReact does

ChatReact posts a message you’ve configured, based on the page you’re viewing, to your own Twitch chat, and pins it. It is free to use.

Your responsibilities

Links and content you post

ChatReact posts a message built from whichever browser tab is active when you press its shortcut. You are solely and entirely responsible for every message and link ChatReact posts to your Twitch chat, including:

ChatReact and DesertIce do not review, filter, or endorse the pages you link to. We take no responsibility for your browsing activity, for the links or messages posted from your account, or for the content of any linked website.

Twitch

ChatReact is an independent project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Twitch Interactive, Inc. “Twitch” is a trademark of Twitch Interactive, Inc. ChatReact relies on Twitch’s services and APIs. If Twitch changes or withdraws them, some or all of ChatReact may stop working, and we can’t guarantee when or whether it can be fixed.

Privacy

How ChatReact handles your information is described in the privacy policy.

Changes and availability

We may update, change, or stop offering ChatReact at any time. We may also update these terms; the effective date above will change when we do. If you keep using ChatReact after an update, you accept the updated terms.

Ending your use

You can stop using ChatReact at any time. Click Disconnect in the extension, then uninstall it. You can also remove its access in your Twitch settings under Connections.

No warranty

ChatReact is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. That includes, without limitation, warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don’t promise that ChatReact will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that every message will be sent or pinned.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, DesertIce is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, revenue, audience, or reputation, arising from your use of, or inability to use, ChatReact. That includes messages posted, not posted, or pinned in your chat.

Some places don’t allow certain warranty disclaimers or liability limits, so parts of these two sections may not apply to you.
